Euphrates Shield factions have been attempting to erect 150 displaced families, all of whom come from Deir Ezzor province, from the Sharia school in Jarablus city.  The factions are claiming that they want to turn the school into a center of a university which Turkey is trying to open in the area.

A civilian source said that the factions suggested the relocation of the 150 families to Zugra IDP camp, which is 3 km away from Jarablus city, and Al-Baydah IDP camp, 30 km away from the city.

He added that the displaced families refuse to leave the school because of the worsening humanitarian conditions in the previously mentioned camps.

The relocation of the displaced families from the school is not something new, as the aforesaid parties have been trying to expel them from the school for around a year, which have prompted protests condemning the act.
