This morning, Tuesday, an IED exploded in a military vehicle of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Al-Hawayej town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
According to local sources, the bombing killed an SDF element and injured another, and also it injured a child who was at the place of the bombing.
The sources indicated that the bombing took place near al-Adhahi car wash in Al-Hawayej town east of Deir Ezzor, and that the SDF have cordoned off the site of the bombing.
It is indicated that the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside has been witnessing increased activity of Daesh cells, especially in the areas near the Euphrates River east of Deir Ezzor.
It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, Daesh posted videos in which it claimed responsibility of assassinations and bombings occurred in the SDF-held areas in Deir Ezzor countryside.
