A championship of bone-building instead of bodybuilding in the areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor

In an attempt to revive the sports sector in Deir Ezzor, the Athlete Commission of Deir Ezzor Athletics Federation has organized a competitive physical fitness championship (bodybuilding) in the sports hall.

According to photos from the competition held in the areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor, the participants in the competition have nothing to do with bodybuilding, as the photos show their bodies thin and don’t have some of the muscles the bodybuilders usually have.

And not so many people attended the competition other than some of the families and relatives of the participants.

The prizes were limited to cups of aluminum metal not exceeding $4 per cup, reflecting the extent of corruption and thefts in the sports sector of the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor.
