Two elements were injured and a pick-up truck was damaged last Monday, May 25, 2020, when a patrol of the so-called internal security was attacked by unknown gunmen near the bazaar area in Al-Ishara city east of Deir Ezzor, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.

Our correspondent said that the two elements were taken to hospital in al-Mayadeen city after the attackers fled the scene.

He added that Assad’s forces and their militias in the city did not make any move after the attack, and remained in their headquarters in a state of alert for about five hours, for fear of other ambushes, then at dawn, they combed the city.

It is indicated that Al-Ishara city has been under the control of Assad’s forces, Iran’s proxy militias and the National defense militia since 2017.
