Activists call for protests in Deir Ezzor tomorrow, Friday, under the slogan.. “You can’t kill our revolution.”

The protests continue in Deir Ezzor against Iran’s militias and Assad regime

For the third week in a row, calls for protests tomorrow, Friday, were launched in the villages and towns of Deir Ezzor countryside that are under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to denounce the presence of the Assad’s forces and the Iranian militias in the eastern Euphrates areas, demand their expulsion and call for the return of displaced people to their homes and lands.

Next Friday’s protests, according to activists from Deir Ezzor countryside, will be held under the slogan “You can not kill our revolution”, in reference to the adherence of the free people of Deir Ezzor to the principles of their revolution, demanding the Assad forces and Iranian militias leave the villages and towns of Hatlah, Marrat, Al-Husseiniyah, Al-Salhiyah, Khasham and Al-Tabiya east of the Euphrates.

The people of Deir Ezzor staged protests during the past two Fridays against the presence of Iran and the Assad’s forces in the eastern Euphrates, the first one was given the name “liberation Friday” and the second was named “Al-Salhiyah Martyrs Friday”, after the victims who were martyred by the Assad’s forces during the first protest.

The Assad’s forces and the Iranian and Russian militias spread rumors among civilians that “the Assad’s forces will arrest the protesters’ relatives who live in their areas” and that “The Assad’s forces and their militias will target the protests with weapons and heavy shells” to frighten the protesters.
