Daesh attacks Al-Azraq oil field in Deir Ezzor

Oil wells, equipment and vehicles were burned last night, Sunday, May 17, 2020, in an attack by a Daesh cell on al-Azraq oil field in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.

Our correspondent added that the members have burned the wells, equipment and vehicles, without killing any one of the workers there.

Al-Azraq oil field is part of al-Tanak field east of Deir Ezzor.

It is indicated that Daesh has carried out several operations over the past two days in different areas of Deir Ezzor, east of the Euphrates at the same time as the international coalition and the SDF have been conducting intensified security operations.
