Yesterday, Daesh launched simultaneous attacks against positions belonging to Assad’s forces in the cities of Al-Bukamal and Al-Asharah, as well as the tows of AL-Duwayr and Al-Kshmah, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
In details: Daesh suicide squads launched a large-scale attack against several positions belonging to Assad’s forces north and west of Al-Bukamal city, which resulted in the death of dozens of regime fighters and allied sectarian militias. The attacks coincided with heavy airstrikes by the regime warplanes on the frontlines. On the other hand, violent clashes are still ongoing between both parties on the vicinity of the Granij town, in the eastern countryside.
Cities and towns in the eastern countryside are experiencing hit and run operations between Assad’s forces and the organization, as well as SDF, in addition to heavy strikes by the Russian and coalition aircraft in support of their ground forces.
