Popular protests and demonstrations continue in several areas of the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside which are under the control of the SDF for the third consecutive day.
This morning, Saturday, 27-4-2019, Al-Bassirah city witnessed a demonstration near the city market, during which demonstrators denounced the policies of the SDF, demanding them to stop the export of oil to the Assad regime.
The demonstrators raised banners with the slogans of the Syrian revolution and stressed the need to uphold the principles of the Revolution and “return it to the way it started.”
One of the banners carried the statement: (They export oil to our children’s killer) in reference to the anger of the people of Deir Ezzor over the exportation of the oil by the SDF to the Assad regime, and another banner reading (the people want to take down the regime).
Al-Huseain town in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside also witnessed a demonstration in which hundreds of the town’s people participated, denouncing the SDF’s repressive policies and demanded the SDF to stop the export of oil to Al-Assad’s criminal regime.
It is noteworthy that a number of cities, villages and towns in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside have witnessed a movement against the SDF and the regime during the past days.
