Today, Friday, people of Abu Hamam town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside staged several demonstrations, protesting against the SDF policy in their areas
The people blocked the main road between the villages of the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, and set tires on fire, as an act of civil disobedience against the SDF.
The people called on Deir Ezzor Civil Council to meet their demands, and to assist the families of those killed and affected by the International Coalition aerial bombardment on their homes.
The people also called on Deir Ezzor Civil Council to give them their rightful share of oil revenues, and to find ways of reducing the prices of petroleum products.
The demonstration came at a time of an unprecedented rise in the diesel prices, which farmers depend on in agriculture, as the diesel price rose to a high of 23,000 SYR per barrel.
It is indicated that the people of Al-Shaitat had staged similar demonstration against the SDF last Friday, asking them to work for the release of their sons detained by Daesh.
