Khasham and Marrat towns east of Deir Ezzor also witnessed an intensified presence of Russian troops.

As usual, wherever the Russians appear, they are quick to use military figures similar to the puppets. The current scene is headed by Assad’s Brigadier General Suhail Al-Hasan, nicknamed “The Tiger”, who is mobilizing his forces to go to Deir Ezzor having a military column headed to Al-Bukamal, which is coincided with the building-up of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in Al-Bukamal desert.

Assad’s forces try to spread rumours and use psychological warfare on the east bank of the Euphrates River through cells among the civilians and the SDF fighters.

It is noteworthy that the Russian movements are coincided with the major escalation of Daesh cells in the region as the SDF approaches to bring closure to the battle against Daesh “Al-Jazeera Storm” east to Euphrates.
