This morning, Wednesday, the international coalition forces carried out a landing on Sabahi Abu Hamza’s house, in Ash-Shahil city in the eastern Deir countryside.
According to D24 network correspondent, the landing was carried out with the participation of the Syrian democratic forces and helicopters of the international coalition. The Coalition forces were not able to arrest Sabahi, therefore they arrested his son Ibrahim.
The correspondent said that Sabahi has been working in the arms trade for a long time, and that his brother Abdel Rahman was detained by the Syrian Democratic forces in Al-Omar oil field east of Deir Ezzor.
The Syrian Democratic forces arrested Abdel Rahman during his attempt to leave Al-Baghuz town in Deir Ezzor countryside about a year ago.
Local sources said that Abdel Rahman was carrying personal weapons equipped with silencers with him when he was arrested about a year ago near Al-Baghuz.
According to sources familiar with the incident, the Syrian Democratic forces accuse Sabahi Abu Hamza of being an active element of Daesh cells in the area.
It is noteworthy that the international coalition forces have carried out similar landings in villages in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, affecting elements and cells of the organization in the region, according to the SDF.
