The SDF remove military checkpoints from villages in the western Deir Ezzor countryside

Today, Saturday, the SDF removed a number of their military checkpoints in the western Deir Ezzor countryside for unknown reasons.

The SDF removed the extension unit checkpoint in Al-Hassan village west of Deir Ezzor and moved the elements and the military equipment to other places.

They also moved their military checkpoint at the main entrance in Asawa town in the western Deir Ezzor countryside.

The Syrian democratic forces did not explain the direct reasons for removing the military checkpoints from several villages in the western Deir Ezzor countryside.

It is noteworthy that Daesh cells are active in the region, and every now and then, they carry out bombings and kidnappings in the region.
