Local sources revealed to D24 network the details of the fighting between two tribes in the villages of Abu al-Naytal and Al-Namliya in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside.
The sources confirmed that after Abd Awwad al-Hajji, an SDF elements from Al-Namliya village north of Deir Ezzor, was killed in the badiyah of Al-Namliya in the northern countryside about three days ago, the tension began between the two tribes.
According to the sources, the SDF made allegations that Al-Bufiryou tribe members in Abu al-Naytal village in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside were involved in killing one of their elements.
Al-Bujamel tribe in Al-Namliya village called on all of Al-Bufiryou members who live in Al-Namliya to leave the village until the truth about the killing of the SDF elements is known.
The sources noted that properties of Al-Bufiryou members who live in Al-Namliya village were burnt as a kind of revenge for the killing of Abd al-Hajji, while the families of the accused demanded evidence that their sons were involved in the killing, to bring them to justice.
The sources confirmed that the dispute between the two tribes escalated into a real clash, with the support of the SDF, who shelled Abu al-Naytal village with mortar shells.
The sources added that the fighting between the two sides resulted in the killing of two people and the injuring of more than 10, amid the spread of snipers on the outskirts of the two villages.
The sources noted that the fighting took place in front of the SDF, who have not intervened to stop the fighting between the two tribes although they have checkpoints near the two villages.
Also aircraft of the International coalition flew in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside without intervening to stop the fighting between the two parties.
The people in Deir Ezzor countryside accused the Syrian Democratic forces and Daesh that they were behind the dispute that erupted in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside, to use it to dominate the area.
It is noteworthy that the Syrian democratic forces have recently carried out several raids in villages and towns in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside on the pretext of searching for Daesh elements and cells.
